How Do You Ride?

The right jersey comes down to four things: temperature, effort, the bike you're riding and how versatile you want your kit to be.

01

Do you run hot?

If you're usually overheating while everyone else is comfortable, maximum ventilation is probably worth prioritising.

02

How cold is it?

As temperatures drop, the open construction of Flowteq can become colder than you need. Plushteq reduces airflow and adds coverage.

Cool weather: Plushteq →
03

E-bike or pedal?

Less effort on the climbs often means less body heat, while higher speeds expose you to more cooling airflow.

Trail only?

Plushteq was designed to pass as a casual tee. Flowteq wears its technical riding DNA much more openly.

The biggest difference

It All Comes Down
To Airflow.

Flowteq is deliberately open. Plushteq is deliberately more closed. Which one feels better depends on what you're asking it to do.

Flowteq open mesh fabric

Flowteq™

Its lightweight honeycomb-style mesh allows large amounts of air to pass through the jersey, helping you dump heat quickly during warm or high-output rides.

Open mesh → maximum airflow
Plushteq closer weave fabric

Plushteq™

A closer and more substantial fabric construction reduces airflow through the jersey, providing more insulation when conditions turn cooler.

Closer weave → reduced chill

E-bike riders

Ride
Colder.

Less effort can change what you need from your jersey.

Riding an e-bike often means less effort on the climbs, which usually means you're generating less body heat.

At the same time, higher average speeds expose you to more cooling airflow. That combination can make cooler rides feel surprisingly cold.

That's why Plushteq is usually our first choice for cooler e-bike riding. If you're pushing hard or riding through summer, Flowteq can still make perfect sense.

Cooler ride + lower effort = Plushteq usually makes more sense.

Where Plushteq starts coming into its own.

For us, once temperatures start heading towards roughly 15°C and below, Plushteq becomes increasingly appealing. Your own crossover will depend on how hot you run, how hard you're working and the bike you're riding.
