WHAT IS THE DC EDITION?
COFFINDODGER DC
V4.0 of our top-spec riding pants have been optimised for 'Dry Conditions' (DC) with a host of changes to the previous version. Don't let this fool you though, they're more than suitable for year round use...
ECO DWR COATING
Traditional DWR coatings containing per fluorinated compounds (PFC) are toxic and persist in the environment. BIONIC-FINISH® ECO is a fluorine-free, eco-friendly technology that provides excellent water repellency and stain resistance, whilst containing a significant amount of renewable bio-based raw materials (up to 90%) for improved sustainability.
LIGHT YET STRONG
We've taken the tried and tested Flexi-Ripstop from the v3.0 Coffindodgers and reduced the fabric weight by 50gsm resulting in a light-weight construction that's still strong enough to withstand some nasty crashes at the park (I can attest to this). Though, if you do manage to damage them within a year of purchase, you're covered by our discounted crash replacement policy.
UNRIVALLED AIRFLOW
For the DC edition we've dropped the waterproof rear membrane from the previous model and instead opted for additional laser cut venting to make these the most breathable pants in our range.
SKID PANELS
Fibreglass reinforced skid panels protect the knees, reducing friction with the ground in sliding falls. This technology also offers a weight saving over the ballistic aramid fabric used within the previous version.
UTILITY LOOP
The park rats amongst you will be happy we've included a handy little utility loop for hanging caps, t-shirts etc.
TRUSTY ZIP POCKETS
As always, we've used the ever-reliable YKK® Vislon® zippers on the fly and 2 pockets, big enough to carry phones, keys, lift pass and more.
TOUGH & TAPERED
We've opted for the most robust elastane we can get our hands on for the tapered cuff which keeps the lower leg safe from the drivetrain when it's time to put down the power.
SECURE FIT
A moto pant inspired ratchet buckle offers a quick adjustable closure whilst the elasticated waistband with silicon gripper tape offer a secure fit over a wide range of waist sizes. The back panel is also raised to avoid showing your crack to fellow riders you're leaving in the dust.
FINISHING TOUCHES
Painstakingly embroidered logo that won't fade, peel or crack like cheaper printing methods. A true sign of a quality garment.
